Cosplay is something I've wanted to be a part of for a long time. Living in Scotland though, I didn't know of many others who enjoyed the hobby and I also didn't know of many places where I could actually wear the outfits to. Then I heard of Doj-Con from a friend, a free anime con in Dundee. I decided to give cosplay a go and good golly gosh, I love it!
I am starting my cosplay hobby a bit later in life than most but I don't want to let that stop me. I hope I can quickly play catch up in cosplay quality rather than quantity.
My greatest hindrance at the moment is storage space. My partner and I share a room at his grandparents small home so we have zero space for wigs and props and shoes.
"I don't have much money but boy if I did, I'd buy a big house where..." we could store all of our awesome cosplay outfits. ♥
Constructive criticism is most welcome. I have a lot to catch up on and learn.
My cosplay dream would be to recreate the entire wardrobe of Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier. It is my favourite anime and Sheryl is one of my favourite female characters from anything. Ever. I love her personality, her music, her strength and of course, her clothes.
