29th March 2012: Progress Well started Spray painting parts and "finishing". All I can do for no since I'm going skiing for a week. Cutting things close getting things done ^^:
28th March 2012: Helmet and Jacket Well getting there with the helmet after MANY issues with sanding, filling and cutting it in half. It has warped out of shape slightly, but I'm moving on, I've made a velcro strap connection and also decided to add some colour to the jacket, just need to add a red stripe along the sleeve. I doubt I'll add anything to the trousers.
But yeah, keep going ^^
8th March 2012: Getting there Trying out Rondoing for my helmet and its getting there, just need it all smooth. Bought a power sander to help :)
24th April 2010: Pepakura Just found some Pepakura files for Kamen Rider helmets, may use some of these and mod them slightly
28th March 2010: DAMN HELMETS!!! right so I suck at Paper Mache', but delving into the pepkura files more I've found Iron Man armour. So, I think I'll make one of those helmets and hack n slash and see what I come up with ^^:

Captain_Marvelous - 21st January 2010 I LOVE some showa riders for example black, RX, V3, A-A-AMAZON! and I also hate some of for example Shin and stronger XD but the first was a great movie :) I am planning a den-o possessed form group of cosplays and a decade costume, hopefully XD you a big K-RIDER fan?

Yeah same I prefer Black RX, I even memorised his Henshin Sequence XD. I wasn't too happy with Amazon, but apparently he and Shin were the creators original ideas, but it was too scary for kids so hence the Sentai look.
I try to be a good fan, I'm on episode 41 of Kamen Rider Kabuto atm, I've watched a couple movies, but I'm more interested in getting the Henshin Belts. I have the V2 Belt and the Gatack DX Zecter so far, more on the way XD

Saw some clips of Double, yeah kind of questionable ^^;, but I admit the suit looks really kick ass, theres nothing too fancy about it, just simple kick assery in it.
I'm hoping after doing this one as a test, I'll do a Cast-Offable Gatack suit. Eventually I should go onto my dream of making Guyver Amrour XD
The belts are really expensive, but prop wise for cosplay they are worth it, and jsut for having them, yeah still so worth it XD
Captain_Marvelous - 22nd January 2010 I mean you can pretty much add 50 pounds to your cosplay bill when doing a kamen rider XD more if the series is new like Double. I really want to do sword form from Den-o :) but yeah guyvery armor is sick XD I grew up with the anime and of course david hayter in the movies XD but yea might start experimenting with cardboard and resin over the next few weeks, once the helmet is out of the way the rest falls together
