1st June 2012: Chainmail! Started working on the chainmail since it's going to take me forever.
Didn't take long to learn thankfully!
I'm using aluminium since it's much much lighter than steel, but I've had to use a low gauge since I wanted smaller more delicate looking rings for the elven look, but didn't want it to become easily damaged.
Ironically the balance on Elronds chainmail would be terrible if it was real, and the rings are hung in the wrong direction, providing less protection. Oh well! Looks pretty ;D
